Literature Text
"Where are you?!" my mind shouts.
Your passion,
the fierce fight of life,
it has gone from the view of my horizon.
Quietly, in the coldness of the cellar,
I open the window to search, to hope.
It may be nothing, it may be everything.
The unknown is what pains me.
Full of questions, desperately.
The answers don't reach me.
The horizon is the limit,
yet you've always been beyond it.
Without the breach, shortcut,
I've become to realize.
I'm handicapped to place.
No way to seek you out.
I cope as I write to you,
hope for you.
It may be nothing, really.
You told me before.
"Let the horizon divide us,"
break the twin-like bond.
Yet I want to fight,
as it's been aflame in your eyes.
How could I fight?
The weakness is there.
I can't find you.
Find me. Keep our promise.
Don't think the unknown is better,
keep our promise,
break me down.
It's what we promised.
Or show yourself,
reach out to me,
let me know you're there.
Let me know the promise is yet to be fulfilled.
